About the job
Manufacturing company located in Santa Ana is looking for an experienced, bi-lingual hands-on Warehouse/Shipping Manager. Candidate must be an experienced hands-on, bi-lingual warehouse/inventory systems and Shipping/Receiving manager to assist, lead and drive the warehouse efforts. Is required to supervise and motivate staff to ultimately achieve accurate physical and system inventory control and staging of products to production and support and monitor the Shipping & Receiving Dept. for efficient and timely order processing and on-time deliveries and schedules.
Summary of managing responsibilities:
• Accurately receiving products and documenting quantity and quality
• Document shortages
• Pulling blanks by work order and deliver same to the production facility on scheduled times
• Accurately maintain updated physical and system inventories to insure product availability
• Accurately document and store 2nd quality prints and overprints
• Facilities and inventory systems management
• Reasonable amount of overtime is required (this is not a 40-hr. a week position)
Qualifications
Must have minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience managing up to 1 million units/month inventory and be directly involved in the accuracy of pulling and staging orders, updating systems to maintain accurate min./max. levels while managing and maintaining on-time deliveries and schedules.
Must have and demonstrate excellent communications, be self-motivated with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions, written and verbally from managers and subordinates. Must be able to read, write, give and take directions effectively in both English and Spanish; ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exist.
Experience Required
The successful candidate will have 5 years plus of demonstrated experience managing $3M+ inventory and be directly involved in the accuracy of pulling and staging orders, updating systems to maintain accurate min. and max. inventory levels while managing and maintaining on-time deliveries and schedules.
Related apparel industry experience is a plus; demonstrated systems control and computer literacy with scheduling knowledge is required.
