About the job
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing strategic marketing initiatives to help shape the Peepers brand. Through organized project management, the Marketing Manager will assure all projects are on track, on time, and within budget. This position will be based in San Diego, California.
Responsibilities:
• Manage all outside vendors, including, but not limited to: Creative, Photo, and any new agencies that will support team initiatives;
-Provide project direction
-Communicate feedback
-Enforce deadlines
-Manage vendor budgets
• Brief writing and project management, including, but not limited to;
-Catalogs
-Supplements
-Promotional Materials
-Point of purchase
-Packaging
-Trade show advertisements
• Collaborate with Trade Show Coordinator to assure showrooms have all necessary show assets
• Collaborate with Wholesale Marketing Coordinator regarding fixture and in-store POP needs
• Organize and manage assets and ensure they are accessible to all team members;
-Photos
-Logos
-Fonts
-Point of Purchase
• Manage the logistics of photoshoots;
-Build and enforce a shot list, based on ecommerce needs
-Assure all needed samples arrive on time
• Create, manage, and distribute a Marketing calendar, and ensure all deadlines are met
• Collaborate with Sales team;
-Make sure they have appropriate Marketing tools and assets by managing those requests through Basecamp
• Create a Marketing Guide to distribute to the Sales Team at each product launch, detailing the strategies, tools, and supporting collateral.
• Write press releases and circulate them to all relevant outlets and publications
• Manage any ambassador or spokesperson program, including contracts and salaries/royalties
• Manage the selection and budget of promotional swag for retailers, direct consumers, bloggers, or celebrities
• Manage any grassroots events or campaigns
• Conduct quarterly focus groups to gain customer insights
• Conduct ongoing competitive analysis;
• Become well-versed in the competitive landscape;

• Manage the Marketing budget and ensure all projects stay within the assigned budget
• Take in-house photos, as needed
