Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator will assist with marketing the International Motorcycle Shows (IMS) to motorcycle enthusiasts, like-minded consumers, and powersports industry brands, organizations and dealerships to generate ticket sales, brand recognition and booth sales in IMS event markets.

The Marketing Coordinator’s key responsibilities will be to support marketing and advertising campaigns through content creation, coordination with third parties and report generation. Marketing and advertising channels include direct mail, print and digital advertising, social media, email and engagement/event marketing. Some administrative support to the marketing team and assistance at event-sites will be required as well.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate consumer and powersports dealership direct mail program by working with internal parties to generate creative assets, request quotes, schedule mailings and maintain proper mailing lists.
• Work with print and digital media partners to provide advertising assets and manage deadlines. Make edits to digital creative assets as needed to properly target the media outlets’ audience.
• Negotiate barter agreements with regional publications.
• Work with Social Media Specialist to post and schedule social media content on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
• Work with marketing team and internal email division to execute email deployments.
• Manage relationships with powersports clubs and organizations to promote the IMS shows through barter and marketing agreements.
• Work with Marketing Manager to analyze marketing efforts by generating email reports, post show reports and pre-show media reports.
• Assist marketing team with issuing department PO’s, processing invoices, and coordinating event-site marketing efforts.
• Up to 15% travel to events.

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Four-year college degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field, with at least two years experience in brand or event marketing. In addition, must have strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal, organizational and writing skills and be computer proficient. Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and some experience in Adobe Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is required. Experience in the Powersports industry and basic HTML knowledge is a plus.
