Job Description

Our flagship location in Greenpoint Brooklyn is looking for a motivated self starter that has always wanted to own their own shop. You will work closely with the owner of the business but are running the show day to day! The manager is responsible for the functions & departments of the store. Store manager is also entrusted with all the financial activities along with assisting with buying & budget allocation processes. Upholding the image and building the reputation of the brand are key responsibilities of a retail store manager.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and motivating a team in order to ensure high levels of efficiency and to increase overall sales.
• Maintain standards, improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability.
• Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation to company standards.
• Managing all aspects of inventory control and loss prevention.
• Establishing and maintaining high standards of quality customer service.
• Sustaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry; understanding forthcoming customer initiatives; examining the business and marketing strategies of local competition.
• Supervising the sales floor during store hours; interacting with employees and customers; identifying and resolving urgent issues


Ecommerce Responsibilities:

• Maintain ALL aspects of the backend of the website.
• Including but not limited to adding new product as we receive them.
• Curating the look of the images online.
• Fulfilling orders each day through USPS/UPS.

Job Requirements

• Previous Retail Store Management experience required.
• Bachelor's Degree or work experience equivalent.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent delegation skills.
• Ability to motivate a team while working as part of the team.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Excellent social media skills required.
• Personal Laptop with Excel and Photoshop and iphone are optional but would be a plus.
