Flojos is in search of a Sandal/Footwear Designer to join the team! One of the oldest Surf Sandal companies is looking for fresh new design talent. Located in Orange County this heritage brand is on a strong growth path and looking for more ideas and chance to put your mark on our line of sandals/footwear
DEPARTMENT Sandal/Footwear Design and Development
RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Design/Develop a semi annual line of sandals and footwear based on seasonal needs and looks
• Actively engage with contribution of market research and design ideas
• Prepare color mock-ups on Photoshop and AI and propose color/material combinations
• Assist in creating presentation materials
• Catalog, marketing and line plan development and design
• Manage the product development cycle to effectively deliver world-class product at the established retail introduction periods and profit margins.
• Achieve minimum target margins while, at the same time, providing value for the consumer.
• Manage the product development cycle to effectively deliver world-class product at the established retail introduction periods and profit margins.
• Correcting samples physically and via email
• Manage the sample process and line development
• Focus on women’s design with the ability to do men’s
