Job Description

We have an immediate opening in our Southern California headquarters for a results oriented, energetic and highly organized leader to manage our domestic rep force. We are looking for an individual with expertise in the footwear industry and also an established network of retailer and buyer relationships. As a dynamic company on the rise, we are looking for a self-starter who can lead our sales force to grow top line revenue. The FLOJOS brand consists of men’s and women’s fashion, casual and beach sandals, outdoor sandals, and men’s footwear.

Essential Qualifications:
• Proven track record of building and leading exceptional sales teams
• Extensive understanding of the marketplace, key retailers and related buyers in the footwear category
• International sales and distribution experience a plus
• Ability to create business plans and seasonal/annual sales budgets by region and major account
• Able to collaborate and direct product/marketing teams to build comprehensive brand strategies targeting key accounts
• Lead the customer service and analytical teams in demand planning, inventory management and retailer analytics
• Strong communication skills, ability to deliver persuasive presentations, as well as create strong, lasting relationships
• Minimum 7-10 years of related Industry Sales management experience
• Working knowledge of the domestic marketplace for national, regional and independent account base
• Strong organization, planning, and time management skills
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic, growing business
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Willing to travel for territory sales contacts and sales meetings
• Willing to travel to & work regional/national trade shows, including Surf Expo, Atlanta, Platform and Outdoor Retailer, often over weekends
Duties and responsibilities:
*Manage domestic/International sales force to meet or exceed sales targets
*Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue at national, rep and account levels
*Monitor monthly results to ensure sales targets are being achieved
*Report to the CEO and board of directors on sales results and strategies to generate revenue
*Strengthen relationships with established customers through effective oversight of their account and results
*Manage, build and drive an online strategy for Flojos and outside vendors including Amazon
*Create compelling presentations for customers
* Demonstrate solid business acumen and a strong understanding of product assortment and marketing programs
*Plan and implement strategies to identify and create new business and/or new customer opportunities
*Manage key timelines, including sample delivery and booking deadline, required for on-time product delivery
*Build sales forecasts by product line and account, and be able to analyze and communicate customer POS data
*Collaborate with marketing and product development on new product ideas based on understanding customer needs
