About the job
Flojos and PV Footwear, leading manufacturers of men’s, ladies, and kids’ footwear is seeking an accounting specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate would have 2 years of accounting experience and previous accounts receivable and payable experience.
We are looking for candidates who are passionate about what they do, enjoy working hard and able handle multiple tasks on any given day.
Primary responsibilities:
• Process customer invoices
• Process customer invoices in portals such as Ariba, Vendor Central and SPS commerce
• Assist with posting of payments to customer accounts.
• Send invoices to customers as requested.
• Process credits for returns and exchanges.
• Enter payable invoices as needed.
Additional accounting responsibilities:
• Assist production, operations, and sales team when necessary.
• Assist with chargeback research and disputes.
• Follow up on accounts payable statements for missing invoices.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years Prior accounting experience required.
• Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Detailed oriented
• Excellent verbal and written communication
Expectations:
• Professional, reliable and possesses a sense of urgency; able to work with little or no supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated with a self-starter mentality
• Problem solver
