Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the assembly, repair and tuning of bicycles including all related interactions with customers.

Summary of Role and Responsibilities:
• Complete assembly of bicycles, including mounting of accessories and attachment parts and setting work for gear and brake systems
• Test drive of bicycle by using check list
• Inspect bicycles (new and when turned in for service) and repair as appropriate, including the exchange of worn parts of gear and brake systems
• Provide customer support (service and claim), including selling of bike components
• Coordinate and maintain service contracts
• Check/control and prepare all manufactured parts, components and additional equipment for dimensional accuracy and quality as well as functionality and ensure alignment with work orders
• Conversion of components and additional equipment
• Control screws with torque as specified
• May crop chains and cable shifts for assembly
• May use and maintain cutting machinery
• Consult with colleagues and supervisor for problem resolution and ensuring parts are in sufficient supply
• Record defects and complaints
• Maintain safe and clean work area
