Canyon Bikes is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join the team at our U.S. headquarters in Carlsbad, California. This position reports into the Marketing Director.

Position Summary
This position develops and administers integrated digital marketing campaigns across email, social, and performance channels; drives lead generation, lead nurturing, and lead scoring; and identifies tactics for improvement. Must be comfortable with CRM/Marketing Automation and database management software, as well as variable data. The Digital Marketing Manager assists in crafting an automated customer engagement strategy, then builds the campaigns and journeys to transform leads into loyal customers. This role drives both inbound and outbound marketing efforts by leveraging technology to help marketing and sales teams capitalize on the data on hand. This role requires strong technical and analytic skills. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Summary of Role and Responsibilities
• Strategize, build, launch, and monitor multi-channel digital marketing campaigns to support brand and product sales objectives.
• Champion data for the Marketing Department by working closely with internal stakeholders, Salesforce Administrators and Data Governance teams to understand and leverage available customer and lead data.
• Collaborate with international marketing teams to ensure global consistency in campaign communications
• Work with multiple stakeholders to drive the success of the performance marketing program.
• Support the Marketing and Customer Service teams in the design of customer engagement journeys and campaigns.
• Optimize web content for SEO based on site analytics and company goals; prepare training and tools for other digital editors to optimize SEO.
• Work with Marketing to identify and activate lead generation opportunities.
• Analyze data to develop and segment customer groups based on various factors such as regionality, affinity, and other variables.
• Manage outbound email campaigns sent on behalf of sales and marketing.
• Optimize all campaigns using A/B testing.
• Report on the effectiveness of campaigns and journeys and provide suggestions for improvement.
• Ensure brand and product messaging consistency in social, email, and web communications.
• Liaison with IT, creative, and customer service teams to realize automation goals.
• Other responsibilities as needed to support the Marketing team.
