Focused on top line growth of the business and new customer acquisition, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the strategy and innovation for Canyon USA’s paid acquisition plans. Working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Canyon’s Global Digital Team, you will drive our in-house SEA efforts by identifying and implementing optimization opportunities across the entire marketing funnel while managing the deployment of paid campaigns across a variety of channels. You will participate in a highly collaborative environment where marketing, customer service, and product management teams partner together to support each other and strive to continuously improve on Canyon’s performance in the cycling market place. Summary of Role and Responsibilities
⏵ Facilitate Canyon's paid search campaign strategy and execution for the US market.
⏵ Maintain the paid search budget and work with the US Digital Marketing Manager and Canyon HQ in order to maximize ROI, drive traffic, and earn customers.
⏵ Guide all of Canyon US paid activity from strategy to campaign execution across all channels including, Google, Bing, Yahoo and, Partner Platforms
⏵ Execute tests, collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns and inform business decisions.
⏵ Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns.
⏵ Manage campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
⏵ Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
⏵ Work with the data analysts at Canyon HQ to understand Canyon's target audiences and build out profiles and engagement strategies based on this knowledge.
⏵ Perform day-to-day campaign optimization and management for Google, Bing, Yahoo, etc based on customer goals and business targets.
⏵ Propose on-site and off-site optimization recommendations and implement them using best practices and test-and-learn initiatives to optimize performance.
⏵ Drive profitability via growth, optimization, creative testing and landing page testing by setting clear expectations and roadmap to achieve SEA KPIs that drive qualified traffic acquisition.
⏵ Conduct competitive analysis and market research on a daily, weekly, monthly cycle.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
⏵ 3-5 Years of experience within eCommerce, direct to consumer, or Agency
⏵ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field.
⏵ Experience managing campaigns across multiple channels and geographies
⏵ Proven SEA experience and success managing paid campaigns (both Shopping and Paid Search) across all major search engines
⏵ Familiarity with different attribution methodologies and different measurement approaches (e.g. LTV, ROAS) as well as online-to-offline measurement, and a strong POV on the optimal ways to measure SEM
⏵ Have led successful PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing in performance marketing
⏵ Have a global mindset and have managed campaigns across multiple geographies
⏵ Current knowledge about techniques and changes in the search landscape and the tools that support effective search marketing
⏵ Have a working understanding of the Google and Bing ad suites
⏵ Familiarity with Google Search Console, Sistrix or other keyword analytics tools
⏵ Working understanding of SEO best practices and implementation strategies
⏵ Strong collaboration skills to work with interdepartmental disciplines.
⏵ Demonstrable project management experience and skills.
