The US Marketing Coordinator will work with the Director of Marketing to implement the US organization’s marketing strategy. Responsible for daily execution of editorial outreach, ambassador activation, and event management programs, the Marketing Coordinator is the person on the ground and in the market ensuring consistent brand growth and messaging.

OBJECTIVES:

Event Management – Works closely with Director of Marketing and sales team to efficiently and effectively execute planned events. This responsibility encompasses all consumer facing events across road, mountain, and lifestyle segments.

Editorial Outreach Support – Responsible for the logistical coordination of editorial placement program. Manage a fleet of test assets, ensuring timely delivery and a brand appropriate experience for testing media partners.

Ambassador Activation – Work with regional and national ambassadors to cultivate sense of community and belonging. Activate ambassadors to product content, attend events, and otherwise engage with BMC and its customers.

Digital Marketing Support – Assist in planning and activating digitally based marketing and advertising initiatives. Work with a suite of digital platforms and tools to implement and monitor campaigns

TASKS:

Editorial Coordination:
- Assist in developing and maintaining editorial outreach between a wide range of channels on both a regional and national scale.
- Manage logistics related to all PR/Communications initiatives including asset delivery and recovery and field logistics.
- Research and develop non-endemic areas of exposure.
- Track and catalog media exposure.

Social Media:
- Assist marketing team in implementing daily social media program through copywriting and scheduling.
- Assist in the creation of and organize of social media assets based on event, ambassador, and editorial related responsibilities.

Ambassador Activation:
- Activate BMC brand ambassadors and social media content creators.
- Cultivate relationship between brand and ambassadors.
- Track ambassador deliverables and report on influence.
- Manage BMC’s amateur team sponsorship program.

Events:
- Coordinate all associated onTour materials and demo inventories.
- Manage event listings on social and owned channels.
- Manage pre and post event communications and consumer follow up.

Visual Merchandising:
- Ensure the effective installation of visual merchandising.

Budgeting:
- Maintain a per project budget as a function of the overall marketing budget.
