The US Marketing Coordinator will work with the Marketing Manager to implement the BMC USA’s marketing strategy across multiple platforms. Responsible for the coordination of editorial outreach, ambassadorship support, sales initiatives, and event management programs. Additionally, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in BMC’s messaging and branding via social media and digital marketing channels. Cycling industry experience not mandatory, but highly recommended.

Objectives:
- Event Coordination: Works closely with Marketing Manager and sales team to efficiently and effectively execute planned events. This responsibility encompasses all consumer facing events across road, mountain, and lifestyle segments.
- Media Outreach Support: Responsible for the logistical coordination of editorial placement program. Manage a fleet of test and demo bike assets, ensuring timely delivery and a brand-appropriate experience for testing media partners.
- Brand Ambassadorship Support: Work with regional and national ambassadors to cultivate sense of community and belonging. Collaborate with ambassadors on social media content and areas for engaging BMC ambassadors in the riding community
- Sales Support: Assist sales staff in retailer and consumer-facing newsletters, creating POP and in-store sales materials.

Tasks:
- Editorial Coordination: Assist maintaining editorial outreach between a wide range of media channels on a national scale.
- Coordinate logistics related to PR/Communications initiatives including asset delivery and recovery and in-field logistics.
- Research and develop non-endemic areas of exposure.
- Track and catalog media exposure.

Social Media:
- Assist marketing team in implementing social media program through copywriting and scheduling.
- Assist in the creation of and organize of social media assets based on event, ambassador, and editorial related responsibilities.

Brand Ambassadorship Support:
- Cultivate relationship between brand and ambassadors
- Track ambassador deliverables and report on influence.

Event Support:
- Coordinate associated materials and demo test fleet inventories.
- Promote event listings on social and other online channels.
- Deliver pre-and-post event communications and consumer follow up.
- Assist in media launch planning and execution for new products.

Digital Marketing:
- Assist marketing team in implementing online marketing campaigns via Facebook Ads, Adwords, Google Shopping, SEO, and similar.
