About the job
We are seeking a motivated individual with proven national sales management experience in the cycling industry to join the Pivot team as our Domestic Sales Manager. In this position you will be responsible for the management of the domestic sales team, visiting accounts, evaluating market conditions, managing territory distribution, growing sales, developing goals and training sales representatives. You will become a Pivot Cycles expert, with the ability to train sales representatives on the complexity of our product, as well as develop sales programs to better serve Pivot’s customer base.
**Please note - Pivot is located in Tempe, AZ and it is mandatory to live in this area or be willing to relocate to be considered for this position**
Responsibilities:
• Grow sales throughout the United States
• Manage up to 30 sales representatives
• Train sales representatives in sales techniques
• Train dealers, mechanics, managers and shop owners about the PIVOT product line
• Visit dealers throughout the United States to develop lasting relationships with our dealer base
• Identify and develop new territories or accounts in underrepresented regions
• Consultative selling to consumers, dealers and sales representatives
• Aggressively grow sales in a dynamic high growth environment
• Develop sales goals with sales representatives
• Attend trade shows
