The Website Project Manager at Pivot Cycles works closely with the Global Marketing, Sales, Operations, and IT teams to plan and execute web project life-cycle deliverables. Tempe, Arizona-based Pivot Cycles seeks a knowledgeable, professional, and digital-savvy project manager with exceptional communication and organizational skills to join a tight-knit, family-inspired brand management team.

RESPONSIBILITES:

Establish website project scope by analyzing technical requirements and parameters, understanding business growth objectives, consulting with departmental stakeholders, and obtaining input from subject-matter experts

• Manage all aspects of application, design, and development projects from conceptualization to implementation

• Coordinate all activities as the ‘Client’ with third party Pivot Web Developers and UX Designers, assuming responsibilities including but not limited to:

+Ensure compliance with all project obligations
+Prepare installation, modification and configuration specifications
+Develop, perform, and complete user acceptance testing
+Schedule activities, track action items, and lead issue resolution
+Maintain project and technical documentation
+Meet cost standards

• Lead the evaluation and design of technical solutions to achieve current and future business objectives; develop and write proposals

• Construct and deliver regular project status reports; Collect, analyze and summarize appropriate data

• Maintain tip-of-the-spear job knowledge and explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree required, BS Computer Science preferred
• Previous experience with WordPress, Shopify and Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
• 3+ years of experience as a Web savvy project manager; familiarity with mountain bike technology preferred
• Previous experience in Atlassian family of project management platforms
• Development experience with SQL & working with Microsoft SQL Server preferred, but not required
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be results-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to work both independently and within a team environment
• Demonstrated aptitude for creative collaboration and ‘remaining calm under fire’ when receiving and offering feedback
