Job Description

Sneaker Lab is a Global Brand available in 48 countries. The purpose of this position is to build brand recognition in the US, educate retailers in proven successful sales strategies and educate customers on the benefits of Sneaker Lab over competitors. Position is to benefit Sneaker Lab’s US marketing plan, and then second to that the global marketing strategy for the brand.

Report to the Director of Marketing and VP of Global Sales as well as work with the Global Marketing Team in South Africa to stay in line with global strategy. Specific responsibilities include:

• Propose and assist with the development and implementation of quarterly marketing plans, budgets and initiatives, report status on activities and progress against goals
• Active management of US social media channels
• Initiate / Coordinate product placement
• Manage Store Activations
• Suggest and Initiate Brand Collaborations
• Lead employee trainings for retail clients
• Hire / Manage assistants and interns
• Coordinate photo shoots – product and lifestyle
• Attendance at domestic tradeshows and special events for product promotion

Job Requirements

• Experience in marketing coordination and project management
• Ability to think analytically and work independently is critical
• Strong oral and written communication skills - presentation skills must be polished and professional
• Solid organization skills in planning, managing details, executing and time management
• Proficient in: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) & Adobe Acrobat
• Familiar with Photoshop and photo management software such as Adobe Lightroom are a plus
• Relationships in the sneaker industry are a plus
