Job Description

Well-known urban lifestyle brand is seeking a wholesale Senior Manager, Demand Planning - Americas who can deliver allocation plans and financial forecasts for Demand/Supply, Inventory and Fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have a track record of creating demand driven financial forecasts, allocation and analysis with minimal risks for major wholesale accounts (such as Macy’s, Sak's, Amazon.com). This role reports to the Global SVP of Supply Chain.

Responsibilities:
• Creates, maintains, and upholds financial goals for inventory Supply Chain: (Demand Forecast, Inventory Forecast, Procurement Forecast)
• Forecasts and re-forecasts: strategically align S&OP and tactical demand plans to each account; partner with Merchandise Planners, Sales Planners, Retail and E-commerce Planners to tie all seasonal forecasting, align KPI’s, and set merchandise lifecycle including off-price transfers
• Partner with Regional PLM/Merchandiser to establish financially supported assortment plan including SKU productivity monitoring, inventory optimization
• Manages OTB and demand plan to ensure in-stock position and maximize inventory turn for each wholesale account, per agreement, preferences and product performance.
• Partner with SVP of Supply Chain to select and implement a Demand Planning system to build and improve algorithms, maximize sku count, maintain historical data - make recommendations for system customization; other duties and special projects as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-teams to communicate and uphold financial and sales strategies, delivery deadliness, and resolve and communicate allocation/ inventory/ demand issues
• Capture, analyze, and aggregate data and financial reports to identify risks, manage inventory visibility, monitor sku performance, KPI’s, and identify sales opportunities
• Oversee and adhere to timelines, create and oversee demand calendars as requested
• Manages inventory budgets, procurement budget, and margin oversight
• Builds and manages a small existing wholesale demand planning team, provide training as needed
• Fulfillment monitoring for all accounts to achieve 100% on time delivery in full.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
• Experience 6-9 years of wholesale demand planning experience (or more). Level of Senior Manager or Director based on experience.
• Must have demand planning and forecasting experience for various major accounts (Macy’s, Sak’s, Amazon, or similar) and specialty accounts. Retail store planning, e-Comm planning, and or Merchandising experience considered with additional wholesale account demand planning experience
• Consumer products and or apparel/accessories industry preferred. International experience ideal, but not required
• Well-versed in planning and allocation system(s), *please indicate which ERP/MRP systems used
• Ability to analyze and make decisions based on detailed financial / inventory/ sales data. Sound reporting and mathematical skills.
• Ability to communicate and present information to all levels of management and cross-teams
• Team motivator; train and develop junior Demand Planners
• Proficient in Outlook, MS Word, and intermediate / advanced MS Excel for reporting (pivot tables, VLOOKUPS, some macros) preferred

This is a full time, on-site direct hire role, location is downtown Los Angeles, CA. Full compensation and benefits package.
