Simply Straws is in search of a Regional Sales Manager to join the team in Costa Mesa, CA.

A California crafted, family founded, award winning B Corporation reusable glass drinking straw company, based in Costa Mesa, CA.
We are an alternative to the common plastic straw. We have been hand crafting glass straws since 2012 in beautiful Costa Mesa, CA. Our products are reusable, sustainable, durable, biodegradable and handmade with intention in California. We use non-toxic colored dyes, bpa free materials, fair-trade organic hemp, flax, and cotton straw sleeves, among other earth conscious materials.
As an award winning B Corporation and family founded business, it is our mission to offset the plastic straw epidemic by educating and exciting our communities about the raw effects of plastic straws and how to adversely change the trajectory (mindset) by simply saying NO to plastic and YES to glass. #ChangeTheWayYouSip

POSITION SUMMARY //
Seeking an experienced and results-driven salesperson to join our energetic team. The individual in this role would provide appropriate product solutions for our customers and nurture them through our purchase flow from start to finish. Candidates for this position should prioritize customer care, acquisition, and company profitability.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Generate and qualify leads via phone and email
• Schedule sales appointments and activities
• Promote products/services to new and existing customers
• Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of new and existing customers
• Close sales by means of excellent customer service and salesmanship
• Develop strategies for more effective sales closing, share with team
• Maintain positive business and customer relationships to prolong customer lifetime value
• Prioritize and/or escalate client questions and concerns to increase client satisfaction
• Source and develop client referrals
• Track personal appointments, status reports, and sales
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
• Continuously improve through feedback
