Mad Engine is looking for a Technical Designer to be responsible for managing tech team factory submissions, coordinating internal SKU specifications, communicate submissions and approvals/comments, and tracking Time and Action calendar from each supplier.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Management of tech team and overseeing/ensuring their workload is being completed properly and in a timely manner
• Responsible for first duties of all factory submissions concerning FIT submits, grading, and garment sewing specifications
• Coordination and direction of all company internal SKU specifications and ensuring all tech packages, markers, and base blocks are managed with our database
• Communication of all submits and approvals/comments to the corresponding factory as well as tracking the T/A calendar from each supplier to ensure their submit leadtimes are consistent with their production calendar
• Other duties assigned as needed
Qualifications
• Have an understanding of the product development and apparel production process
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
• 3+ years of Production/Product Development/Pattern making experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is a plus.
• Must have full-time availability, Monday through Friday.
