The Domestic Purchasing Manager (Bilingual English and Spanish) is responsible for accurate purchase order data entry input, communicates with all suppliers on availability of product/color for orders, tracking/reviewing all goods ordered and received, matching vendor invoices to purchase orders. Ensures interdepartmental communication of purchase order information to all team members
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Management of daily PO data entry input as well as ensuring interdepartmental communication of this information to all members within the purchasing department in regard to all blank’s purchasing.
• Communication with mill suppliers concerning availability of product/color for each incoming order and cross communication to team members and project management team of any concerns/issues relating to availability or need to conversion to a non-specified supplier
• Responsible for ensuring that each corresponding project management team are receiving copies of each mill PO with garment specification for each order
• Responsible for managing blending options in regard to orders where multiple vendors have to be utilized for an order
• Responsible for both job duties of purchasing assistant and purchasing coordinator, as needed, during increased workload time periods
• Management of purchasing and overseeing/ensuring their workload is being completed properly and in a timely manner
• Resolve vendor or contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers
• Other duties assigned as needed
