SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the leading and daily management of the Billabong Womens sales team for the specialty and key account channels.  The position requires the ability to forecast, set sales and profit goals, and to drive product initiatives to achieve fiscal budget.  The position is responsible for the management and execution of Billabong Womens in the wholesale channel.  This position will interface between Sales, Merch and Design, Sales Operations, Demand Planning, Visual merchandising and Accounting departments to ensure sales plans are achieved.
 
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership / Sales Planning
Direct responsibility to drive sales team and initiatives to achieve fiscal sales and margin budgets.
Responsible to maximize gross margin through planning and minimal dilution.
Forecast, set and lead team to achieve seasonal and fiscal sales targets.
Create new programs to compel prebook and in-season ATS growth.
Ability to forecast a 3-year Business Plan.
 
Management / Partnerships / Travel
Direct management of sales reps (independent agents) and Key Account Mgr’s.
Develop key account business plans / Go to market docs to drive profitable customer growth.
Oversee key account product assortments and receipt plans to assure maximum sell through           performance.
Coordinate wholesale go-to-market initiatives with merchandising, design, marketing and sales team.
Build / maintain strong partnerships with key wholesale accounts.
Regular travel to accounts, trade shows, and sales meetings
 
Planning / Order Book / Feedback
Assure timely account sales presentations to achieve key planning/purchasing timelines.
Actively engage in all purchasing decisions to maximize in full/on time order book fulfillment.
Lead monthly selling performance reviews with M&D and sales reps.
Manage reps in order file management to ensure on time order file delivery and monthly shipping targets.
 
 
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
5+ Years sales management with experience growing a large business across multiple channels.
Established retailer relationships across channels and the ability to develop new business.
Extensive knowledge of the women’s national, teen, surf and boutique marketplaces.
Knowledge of retail match (sales, stock, margin, turn, markdowns, sell through, etc).
Strong communication skills and the ability to present clearly and effectively.
Ability to think strategically short and long-term in alignment with brand growth and distribution plans.
Ability to lead a high performance team of large volume sales agencies.
Ability to set budgets, manage expenses.
