The Challenge:
As the Director of Inventory Management, you will oversee the Americas region and ensure the accurate forecasting of inventory in accordance with inventory cycles and organizational philosophy. You will evaluate and assess current inventory practices and lead continuous improvement changes across the organization. The position oversees the virtual Inventory management team and serves as the main liaison between the various departments involved in the company’s internal supply chain to ensure alignment and achievement of business goals. In this position you will work on supply planning, oversee liquidation, and work on inventory optimization across all brands

Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you will have:
A minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in an inventory control/management leadership role within a consumer goods, manufacturing and distribution environment, preferably in Retail
Proficient, hands-on experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, managing inventory accuracy and meeting service level expectations
Team Development, KPI metric development, and project management experience
A proven track record as a strong experienced leader/manager of large planning organizations
The ability to turn best practices and establish goals into actionable results with a proven record of accomplishments
Previous experience developing strategies and initiatives for improving regional inventories to ensure that the company has the right product in the right distribution centers or seasonal storage facilities to improve service levels and reduce inventory levels and operation costs
