Boardriders Inc is in search of an IT Applications Manager to join the team at headquarters in Huntington Beach, CA.

SUMMARY //
The Manager has primary responsibility for all retail-related systems including POS, Merchandising, Planning, Replenishment, Promotions, Loyalty and integrations to external systems. They will serve as the lead analyst responsible for collaborating with the business to resolve issues and provide system solutions for business problems. Qualifications include retail process experience, experience in an IT analyst role in a retail environment, experience managing IT applications and demonstrated management skills. After business-hours support and availability are expected.

RESPONSIBILITIES //
• Manage internal and external staff on IT retail activities
• Manage software projects and tasks related to retail and related systems
• Comply with the Boardriders’ Software Development Lifecycle and Change Management policies
• Ensure PCI compliance is maintained, Personally Identifiable Information is protected, and systems are secure
• Support the planning team with the merchandise planning and the initial allocation process
• Support the replenishment team with the replenishment process for full price and outlet
• Support the retail accounting team with bank reconciliation and the G/L posting process
• Support the retail operations team with promotions and provide status on open issues impacting store operations
• Provide Level II support for POS issues
• Assist the IT Business Reporting Team with mapping retail data and validating data extracts
• Escalate to vendors for Level III issues, and follow up to ensure timely resolution of all issues
• Communicate with business and IT counterparts to set expectations and ensure alignment
• Develop test plans and complete initial testing of all changes, enhancements and new solutions
• Develop and execute upgrades to software solutions to ensure they are current with vendor releases
• Keep current on industry trends and advise leadership on opportunities related to new technology or solutions to existing business problem
