Summary
You will be using the Mantissa Tilt Tray Sortation System.  You must have strong mechanical, electrical, and controls aptitude, and experience with industrial electrical and motor controls.  You will perform preventative maintenance and conveyor system repair, troubleshoot and repair forklifts and other distribution center equipment as needed.  You will have hands on ability and experience with the operation, maintenance, and safety of material handling equipment.  You need to have knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, electronics, electrical circuits, and programming as applied to material handling.  You will use hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.  Must have ability to follow manuals, schematic diagrams, and mechanical and electrical drawings.  Must have attention to detail, solid record keeping skills, and strong communication skills.  You will handle inventory control for equipment parts.  The employee will be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

Required Experience
Qualifications To qualify for this position, must have MS office knowledge and the ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions.  Ability to read and understand English is required.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group situations and other employees of the company. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals is required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Education/Experience
High School or GED and/or; six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses Current Forklift Driver Certificate or other required license to operate assigned equipment.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
