Monitor and maintains inventory levels of accuracy by location. Through analytical skills and records, identifies sources of inventory shrinkage and implements processes to detect and correct inventory problems. Works closely with Inventory Control Associates.
Assists management daily with workload priorities for the DC.
Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies daily.
Help coordinate the Cycle Count team along with Department management.
Resolve variances within 24 hours of cycle count.
Ensure that all non-inventory locations are clean each day from WMS system (i.e.: handling units, bulk locations etc.)
Assist management team the weekly reserve hold listing and helps resolves old inventory that needs to be removed off hold accordingly.
Assist management team daily to review inventory that has been backordered.
Assist management team daily to review WMS negative on hand inventory and resolve discrepancies quickly.
Update DC Manager of any process or procedures not being followed by DC staff.
May often perform cycle counts when necessary.
Accurately and efficiently locate product both physically and in WMS database.
Participate in brainstorming session to streamline current and new inventory processes.
Follow all DC safety procedures
Required to work O/T or Weekends as needed.
May perform other duties as assigned.
To qualify for this position, must have MS office knowledge and the ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to read and understand Spanish is a plus. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals is required.
High School or equivalent, previous distribution center experience a plus.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
