SUMMARY:
In this role, you will drive significant business growth and make an immediate impact through your expertise in organizational design, talent management strategy, and leadership coaching.  Oversee and implement human resources programs, policies, and practices that foster growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness in areas including on-boarding, employee engagement, learning and development, and performance management. As part of our HR Team, your #1 goal is to help design, build and execute the talent strategy that drives Boardriders success.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collaborate with Head of Talent and Global HR team to develop global HR strategy
Work with the regional management teams to develop and deliver a HR plan which supports strategic business direction and objectives
Collaborate with Regional HR Directors and Global HR Team to share information, benchmark and develop innovative, business relevant HR policies and processes
Play a leading role in the implementation of change initiatives as they apply to people within the business
Actively engage with senior management as a change agent in the provision of solutions that support organizational and cultural cohesion and enhance overall business performance
Provide research, advice and opinion regarding emerging people issues and human capital risk facing the business.
Manage HR projects as required, such as implementing new systems, processes and other company initiatives.
Set objectives and KPIs for your team to achieve strategic objectives
Provide coaching, recognition and manage performance to ensure your team is aware of opportunities for growth
Consider likely successors to all senior positions and develop succession plans to ensure development of key staff  members
Implement the performance management system and ensure communication about performance levels are  continuous and that objectives are effectively cascaded to your whole team
Manages Employee Relations cases by providing associate and leader coaching and counseling while ensuring consistent application and interpretation of company policies, practices and procedures
Facilitates the open-door process and investigate work place concerns
Ensures HR policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance with state, federal and local laws; develops, recommends and implements human resources policies to meet organizational needs
Creates insights from data, using trend and metric information to inform process and program improvements
Recognizes, analyzes and diagnoses key trends in ER metrics to uncover root cause. Develops and designs solutions, based on root cause analysis work
Other tasks may be assigned from time to time which contribute to the overall success of the company
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
BA or BS Degree or equivalent combination of education and training through accredited institutions required
7 years+ of progressive experience in Human Resources, at least 4 years in a leadership capacity
Experience supporting senior leaders in a matrix organization
Knowledge and solutions development experience on a wide range of human resources related matters, including industrial and employee relations, employee and organization development, remuneration and related activities, recruitment and selection, employee counselling, and training and development
Experience in implementing organizational change
Demonstrated experience with leading and developing a performance focused team
A proven and driven self-starter who can effectively move back and forth from being tactical to strategic on all aspects in support of an employee’s life cycle.
Business acumen, presence, maturity and professionalism to operate at all levels of the company. Experience supporting senior level leaders.
Ability to effectively counsel, influence, multi-task, project-manage and problem solve in a results oriented business environment.
Results driven, high energy team player who approaches challenges in a fast moving and high pressure environment with enthusiasm
Possesses strong, succinct and articulate communications skills, excellent interviewing skills with strong intuitive skills
Thorough knowledge of applicable HR-related legislation and regulations (e.g., labor laws, statutory requirements)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy; high standards for quality
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, use discretion, diplomacy and tact
Negotiation, counseling and conflict management; must be able to facilitate communications, and influence without authority.
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
