Job Description

SUMMARY:
                The Retail Support Analyst provides support for all retail-related systems including POS, Merchandising, Planning, Replenishment, Promotions, Loyalty and integrations to external systems.  They will serve as a point of contact for the business to resolve minor issues and gather data/requirements for larger business problems.  They will also help the business with day-to-day processes where IT involvement is needed. Qualifications include retail process experience, experience in an IT role in a retail environment, experience supporting all levels of end users and the demonstrated ability to determine the root cause of software issues.  After business-hours support and availability are expected.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Level II support for Retail System issues
Conduct root cause analysis on issues reported by the business 
Provide status on open issues impacting store operations
Manage data imports requested by the business teams to support business processes
Gather, review and validate business requirements for system change requests
Work with project managers on test plans, initial testing and other project tasks for implementing enhancements and new solutions
Facilitate end user training and create training materials on newly implemented functionality and processes
Have an understanding of the business channels outside of retail for OMNI channel related projects
Pull ad-hoc reports/data for the business when requested
Support the replenishment team with the replenishment process for full price and outlet
Support the retail operations team with promotions
Assist the IT Business Reporting Team with mapping retail data and validating data extracts
Comply with the Boardriders’ Software Development Lifecycle and Change Management policies
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
3 years’ experience in the IT field
2 years’ experience in Retail
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or similar
Strong Analytical, Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis Skills
Intermediate SQL Query Writing Skills
Strong verbal skills including the ability to present solutions to senior business leaders, describe technical solutions in business terms, and teach business partners and team members.
Strong written skills including the ability to document business requirements, document test plans, assist with user documentation
