Responsibilities
Shipping, Receiving, Loading, Unloading, Processing, Stocking, Restocking, Sorting, Picking, Packing, Pulling, inspecting and counting  product from containers, pick locations and throughout the distribution center. 
Preforming value added services to include but not limited to: hanger, de-hanger, tag, de-tag, product returns, sensoring, de-sensoring, and folding product.
Keeps work areas clean and safe
May perform other duties as assigned or Directed by Management. 
Required to work O/T or Weekends as needed.
 
 
Distribution Associate - Lead

Essential Position Duties and Responsibilities:
 
Safety perform general distribution center activities as assigned and in alignment with Labor Management efficiency standards. Activities include, but not limited to - Receiving, Shipping
Picking, Sorting, Packing, and Value-Added Services (VAS)
Inventory and Quality Control

Utilize our Warehouse Management System (WMS), Radio Frequency (RF), and other technology to execute assigned tasks and optimize performance.
Operate industrial powered equipment based on assigned activities, including but not limited to – Order Pickers, Turret Trucks, Reach Trucks, Pacer/Dock Stockers, and Pallet Jacks

Complete all assigned pre-shift inspection reports as prior to operating equipment and assist with maintaining the equipment through basic cleanliness and continued safe operation.
Support the assessment of activities and resources to assist in continuous improvement initiatives and labor management optimization.
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of distribution center activities to assist with effectively resolving problems and supporting established performance and service standards.
Monitor multiple activities to ensure timely and accurate completion as directed by warehouse leadership team.
Support warehouse leadership team through effective and accurate communication with internal and external departments.
Partner with leadership team to adjust priorities and effectively allocate resources to ensure activities are completed accurately and on-time.
Support the training and development of associates, including monitoring associate and department performance and cross-training opportunities.
Complete all other assigned activities, including but not limited to – Manually loading and unloading cartons from equipment or trucks.
Inducting and packing out orders in the Tilt-Tray sortation system.
Separating, palletizing, staging and transporting cartons on the shipping lanes.
Consolidating, transferring and organizing product in the up-right high bay racking or pick modules.

 
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Effective English verbal and written communication.
Ability to work overtime as required, including weekends.
Maintain an organized, clean and safe environment.
Ability to comply with all safety and personal protection equipment requirements at the facility.
Comfortable working in an automated warehousing environment within proximity of powered industrial equipment and other mechanical equipment, including a loud noise level.
 
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and safely perform physical tasks with or without reasonable accommodations, including but not limited to – Walking/Standing/Sitting
Lifting/Bending/Crouching/Kneeling/Stooping
Pushing/Pulling/Reaching with hands and arms
Ascend/Descend Stairs
Operate from an elevated platform up to 30’ in the air
