Distribution Analyst

Summary
Leads activities to test new and existing processes in Jira and update the SOP.  Will be a liaison between WMS and Distribution Operations.  The qualified candidate will work closely with the WMS Director, WMS Analyst and the Inventory Control/SOP Director.  Candidate must have good job-related computer skills including experience with WMS and RF systems.  Candidate must have good problem solving skills.  Provide front line user support and act as liaison between IT/WMS and the Distribution Center.  Participate in testing of new and existing WMS applications and help maintain all SOP’s up to date.  Participate in training efforts and work with the WMS users on the production floor to solve problems that arise within the system.
 
Responsibilities
Perform LMS testing for new/existing Engineering Standards
Monitor LMS processes
Assist with identifying and resolving operational and procedural issues
Perform QA testing on all system changes.
Prepare and submit WMS change control tickets in Jira
Supports implementation of Process Improvements
Assist on post-production check outs.
Participates in brainstorming sessions to streamline current and new processes.
Help train the WMS users on the production floor (including temps).
Monitor daily WMS receipt, ship, and returns transactions to make sure they have posted successfully in the multiple ERP systems.
Distribution Labor Planning (zone, location, forward picks, cycle count queue, travel paths).
Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Required Experience
3 to 5 years minimum experience in any top tier WMS environment such as Manhattan, JDA and Highjump, Highjump experience would be a plus
AA in Computer Science or related field or related work experience
Detail oriented, provides administrative support to WMS team
Ensures policies and procedures are maintained and enforced
Proactive analytical skills/detail oriented
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Effective problem solver who maintains a high level of professionalism
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and multi-task
MS Excel
Good time management skills
 
Experience a Plus
Strong knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX)
SAP-  FI/SD/MM/IM
MS Access
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering
