SUMMARY:
Reporting into the Digital Factory lead, the SEM/PPC manager will be the go-to-expert, leading the day-to-day management of complex and sophisticated cost per click campaigns supporting multiple brands.  They will drive innovation through creative, copy and audience tests, whilst delivering trade and customer moment support. The role will develop a thorough understanding of digital campaigns by industry reading, learning and relationship building with key partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily and weekly reporting on campaign performance across our paid search campaigns.

Continuously monitoring and optimizing paid search and shopping campaigns.

Set up and optimization of paid social and programmatic display campaigns.

Manage the daily budgets across all accounts, ensuring budget allocation is as efficient as possible or delivers to another pre-defined KPI.

Writing, testing and implementation of various copy and messaging.

Contribute to the Improve quality score and conversion rates via landing page optimization

Work closely with internal departments, educating them on channel requirements to deliver to business objectives.

Working closely with 3rd party suppliers such as Google to ensure implementation of recommendations and utilizing best in practice processes.

Keeping up to date with the latest trends in paid search and the wider digital marketing industry to share with the wider team.

Where relevant, assist in development of other performance channel tactics that the wider team are involved in.

Providing analysis of current campaigns to the wider team on performance as well as recommendations for improvement.

Using analytics platforms such as GA, Adobe Analytics and Adwords to make optimization recommendations.

Ensure all communications are accurate, consistent and delivered on time.

 
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
3 - 5 years of paid media experience, including search marketing & social media marketing (SEM required)

Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects at once

Able to effectively prioritize tasks to meet key deadlines

Ability to work quickly and efficiently with an excellent eye for detail and accuracy

Able to contribute fresh and innovative ideas

Pro-active and able to work autonomously as well as with other team members from all levels of seniority

Providing clear reporting, more importantly actionable insights on account performance

Confidence in handling and manipulating numerical data

Excellent analytical skills

Working knowledge of Google Adwords, Bing Ads, Facebook Business, Youtube and GDN and digital media buying KPIs (CPM, CPC, CPA, ROAS, CTR, etc…).

Understanding of testing methodologies for proving out and optimizing new campaigns

Great organizational skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Advanced proficiency with Excel

 
 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Experience working with advertising on Facebook and YouTube.

Google AdWords Fundamentals, Search Advertising, Shopping & Display Advertising.

Ecommerce and paid search experience

Proven track record of working in a paid search role either agency or client side with an appreciation for different aspects of paid search and wider digital marketing

Experience with Adobe Advertising would be advantageous

Solid knowledge of Google docs, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote.
