SUMMARY:
            The Senior Business Analyst will help coordinate the Wholesale planning efforts across the Boardriders portfolio of brands mainly focusing on Quiksilver, Roxy, and DC Shoes.  The role involves significant planning and analytics throughout the entire lifecycle of a product: long-range planning, pre-season planning, partnering with purchasing on the buys, in-season planning, and post-season analytics. We are in search of an individual with prior planning and analytics experience and a strong technical background who can collaborate with leadership to continuously evolve the planning function within Boardriders. This individual will be heavily involved in supporting our branded planners with analytics and templates to ensure alignment of our sales plans to our financial objectives. We will expect this individual to work cross-functionally with Sales Management, Merchants, Demand Planning and Finance to gather and communicate key insights to support our brands in making informed decisions.  The ideal candidate will be collaborative and have a passion to innovate on tools, reports and analytics that support all planning functions.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain reports and templates to support the following planning processes: Long-range Planning (Strategic and Financial)
Seasonal Sales
Reorder/At-Once
Order Conversion
Returns
Markdown Allowance

Collaborate with sales management, branded planners, finance, operations and merchants to develop the fiscal budget, seasonal sales plans, reorder plans, and weekly sales forecast
Design and distribute a set of Pre-book performance reports across all brands to the Regional President
Constantly evolve a set of reports and dashboards on useful sales metrics that provide valuable insights related to: rep performance, product category mix, style/material efficiency, and profitability
Develop training documents and rollout a semi-annual training program to our regional sales management, sales reps and branded planners on Salesforce.com and Tableau dashboards
Work in partnership with demand/merch planning to supply regular forecast updates on our Seasonal Sales Plans
Assist the branded planners with target setting and monitoring of brand initiatives
Support the department head on special projects and other key deliverables
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent field
Demonstrate advanced analytical skills and proactive problem-solving skills
Strong planning and organizational background
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Significant experience and superior knowledge with Microsoft Excel and add-ons (PowerPivot, PowerBI, etc…)
Experience building financial models, templates and reports
Minimum of 4 years of experience with planning and analytics
Knowledge of the Apparel and/or Footwear industry
Strong desire to learn and challenge the business to think differently
Systems experience:  SAP or a similar ERP and Business Objects/BI

MBA
Salesforce.com and Tableau experience
