The UX Designer will lead our new User Experience capability within Brand Design and act as the bridge between Digital Design and internal and external development partners. The UX Designer will advocate for elegant and user friendly customer experiences within our digital channels and digitally-augmented physical environments leading with a mobile first mindset. This role will be accountable for establishing a User Experience practice that institutes and leads industry best practices by leveraging research, analytics, and testing in order to constantly and iteratively refine our platforms and communications.
This key position will join an expanding Digital Design team and have the opportunity to create, define and impact the immediate roadmap. The UX Designer must be a customer champion, a data-driven creative problem-solver who utilizes quantitative and qualitative data to design innovative solutions to deliver a consistent brand experience throughout all digital touch points.

Create weekly web designs and marketing emails that effectively communicate the message and goals required by the E-Commerce and Marketing teams
Participate in initial planning of digital assets with Art Director to review incoming briefs, address business goals, and discuss messaging and graphic guidelines
Work with E-commerce team on a consistent basis to determine changes to strategy, messaging or timing, and react accordingly
Incorporate messaging and strategic call-to-action into designs
Work with UX/UI team to constantly improve functionality and usability of site
Generate pro-active feedback and insights for technical and visual innovation of digital communication pieces
• Has in-depth experience in mobile-first optimization and design
• Robust experience in A/B testing of UI/UX design with Conversion Rate Optimization team to ensure optimized user experience and minimize drop off user rates
• Has previous working experience with e-commerce and developers to ensure full understanding of from design to web implementation, user experience feedback, and ensuring minimizing drop off of users on website
Light front end coding experience and/or technical understanding of working with developers and implementation of UX.
Have an objective point of view with design and keep project goals at the forefront of design work
Work collaboratively in an environment that values creativity and flexibility
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
A strong portfolio displaying creative, conceptual design skills and knowledge of Principles of Design across various digital platforms
Self-motivated mindset with ability to research and learn the latest digital software and innovations, and keep up with UX/UI best practices
Conceptual thinker with design sensibilities around user experience, typography, illustrations etc.
A strong attention to detail, organizational skills, a proactive problem-solver, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience, preferred. 2-5 years relevant experience in a corporate marketing and/or design environment
Past experience working for a Lifestyle or Fashion company a plus, but not required
Knowledge of project management software a plus
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Knowledge of AE and Premiere a plus
