SUMMARY:
This position will manage the Supply side operations for regional Salesman Samples. The position is in charge of coordinating/executing all efforts involved with the procurement and delivery of Seasonal Salesman Samples. They will be responsible for communication, reporting and resolving issues throughout the sample process. The position requires the ability to multitask, work under pressure, meet deadlines, quickly shift priorities, and strong organizational skills.  
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage Salesman Samples process for regional needs (Americas)
Coordinate with Product teams to ensure Calendar deadlines are met
Buy log creation and management
Validation of material push into SAP
Regional purchase order issuance
Purchase order maintenance
Analyze Supply Chain process exceptions
WIP tracking and reporting
Minimize supply delays by working with Vendor Management
Report and communicate Seasonal SMS On Time performance
Support for logistics and customs team for inbound supply
Support for distribution team to ensure timely goods receipt
Cooperatively work with product and operational teams
Hindsight reporting to identify Issues and coordination with Functional departments to resolve
Plan and execute special projects as assigned by Management
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
2+ years’ in supply chain, production, procurement, or sales operations experience
Bachelor’s Degree Preferred – 2 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
Proficiency with excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Critical thinking and highly developed analytical skills
Ability to effectively and accurately communicate across all levels and all departments
 
 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
SAP Knowledge
Experience in similar industry – apparel/footwear/consumer goods
