Acting as the intermediary between sales teams and creative services, you will strive to find creative solutions to connect with and inspire the consumer while meeting the customers needs across all channels of distriubtion. You understand the history and nuances of the action sport industry as well as the retail environment where Quiksilver product is sold.
You will be based in the core of California surf culture – Huntington Beach, Califorina. World Tour experience is not required, but a passion for riding mountains and waves doesn’t hurt. Ensure the consumer is at the heart of every decision
Day-to-day execution of varied commercial activations
Identify, analyze and execute all Co-Op opportunities
Develop and execute key account plans, including 1:1 meetings with key accounts to drive sell-in and develop sell-through strategies
Drive brand’s excellence at point of sale by ensuring right marketing tools, activations, and experiences are briefed and implemented
Ensure Account Managers and management are equipped with the right sell-in tools to win at sell-in
Serve as the marketing point of contact for key and large accounts and Account Managers
Work with Brand activation counterpart to activate athlete and influencer portfolio at an account level
Develop and review ROI metrics and principles to ensure commercial feasibility of all regional executions
Work with sales to develop b2b mkt collateral to support growth goals
Measure and report ROI by account against allocated investment
5+ years of experience in consumer marketing
Proven track record in delivering best-in-class point of sale marketing solutions, including digital strong business acumen and excellent commercial skills
An understanding of traditional and non-traditional brand marketing strategies, including digital
Ability to critically assess portfolio against defined KPIS and ROI considerations
Ability to identify trends and to turn insights into actions
Expert in project management, including budget management
Ability to build out meaningful and impactful presentations
Effectively present to accounts and executives on a seasonal basis
Excellent interpersonal skills
Self-motivated, proactive, can-do attitude
Management of collaborative projects from ideation through planning and execution
Has an established network and relationships with relevant accounts (ie Macy’s, Dicks Sporting Goods, Amazon)
Training experience (in store)
Available to travel twice a quarter (domestic)
