SUMMARY:
The newly created role, Director, eWholesale Strategic Accounts has the responsibility of managing the wholesale business of Quiksilver, Roxy, DC Shoes, Billabong, RVCA, and Element on amazon.com.  Primary responsibility is to achieve company’s sales and margin goals through robust product segmentation, content creation, and data powered marketing spend.  Lead and develop team of seven.  Additionally, this team will manage sales to other e-commerce accounts.  The role reports to the VP of Sales,  Billabong, but will work closely with the head of Sales for each Boardriders brand.
The ideal candidate will have current and relevant experience in successfully managing an eCommerce business with similar product categories.  The candidate will understand the complete eCommerce merchandising and marketing process to maximize product revenue, search/ranking and marketing/co-op ROI. In depth experience with Amazon is required.
 
Major Functions
Oversee product strategy including segmentation, content optimization, white space opportunities.
Manage marketing budget and drive best practices.
Manage data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Provide updates to senior management as needed.
Monitor third party marketplace sellers and coordinate with MAP enforcement team.
Manage additional e-commerce wholesale accounts as needed.
 
RESPONSIBILITES:
Forecast and achieve sales and margin targets.
Lead Brand Managers to create segmented product strategies.
Lead Brand Managers to drive replenishment program of segmented products.
Frequent communication with individual brand teams.
Coordinate resources and production initiatives.
Maintain strong relationship with Amazon at the DMM level.
Ensure brand product segmentation strategy is being implemented.
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
 BS/BA required
7-10 years of experience selling on Amazon.
Experience with apparel/footwear categories within eCommerce.
Extensive knowledge of how Amazon works, first-party and third-party.
Knowledge of third-party support tools.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong financial skills.
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
Proven track record delivering results in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
Proficient working with web-based reports, selling portals and databases
Analytical
Highly motivated and experienced professional
Capable to drive results
Team player
 
 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
 
Proficient in excel
Proficient working within Vendor Central and similar retail portals.
