SUMMARY:
 In this role you will be responsible for driving Speed to Market strategy and process for the Billabong women’s business, identifying and executing against strategic opportunities and SMU’s across wholesale, retail, and e-commerce.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own IGP, line architecture, channel and segmentation strategies for special make up programs and products.
Identify and execute speed to market / supplemental product opportunities, maintaining open communication and visibility w/ the inline product teams.
Work with the retail and e-commerce teams / key accounts and sales management to analyze key market trends and identify product segmentation or SMU opportunities to drive incremental revenue and penetration for the brand.
Have an in-depth knowledge of market, trends, innovation, competition, and product
Ensure product lines / programs are brought to market in a timely and profitable manner
Acts as liaison between retail, e-commerce, key accounts, sales, design and production
Ensure that all Line Plana, PLM, catalogs, and ERP’s / BI’s are all correct and up to date.
Manage time and action calendar to meet all deadlines.
 
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree, Business administration or Retail Merchandising preferred
5+ years experience in sales, buying / planning, or product development.
Good working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Retail math and familiarity w/ PLM
Ability to identify key marketplace trends and opportunities that are consistent with brand values and design aesthetic
Knowledge of product development process / calendar / timelines
Thorough understanding of retail math, margin, and key analytics
Be able to proactively develop relationships with key accounts / vendors
Must be able to multi task and work in fast paced environment
Must be proactive with a solution / result oriented attitude
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and follow through skills
Must be highly organized and detailed oriented
