SUMMARY:
In partnership with the President and Design Director, the Ar Graphic Designer will create and bring to market the most well executed, innovative, and compelling visual identity in the industry, crafting and curating the creative direction of the brand, collaborating internally with the product development, sales and marketing departments as well as VZ’s external creative partners and advocates.

Video ideation + Graphic direction
Campaign Ideation & Execution
Consult and work together with copywriting on language usage
Work closely with Designer Director in concepting production art and potential product collaborations
Adhere to all calendar deadlines
Communicate clearly with key business stakeholders
Provide deliverables on time per the company calendar
Improve brand attraction through compelling brand look and feel
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
At least three years of professional experience in a similar role
In-depth knowledge of Eyewear and Accessories marketplace
A creative perspective of the application of graphics, layouts and digital design
Technical knowledge of all the creative suite applications
Familiarity with still and video photography
Hard working, visionary with attention to detail
Out of the box thinking with an eye to what is coming next
Mindful of calendar with a sense of urgency
Collaborative, flexible with a strong point of view and communication skills
Able to undertake market research using all forms of media, travel and market feedback
Optimistic and outgoing with the capacity to operate in a dynamic work environment with passion and motivation
Interest in what's new and innovative with awareness to trend
Upbeat, positive mentality with a roll up your sleeves work ethic
Knowledge of product development calendar, process, timelines, and deliverables
Must be able to multitask and work in fast paced environment
Must be proactive with a solution/result oriented attitude
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and follow through skills
Must be highly organized and detailed oriented
Extensive working knowledge of the Creative Suite and Microsoft Office applications
