SUMMARY:
This is a hands-on position in support of the Mira Loma Distribution Centers (MLDC) operations, which will work with all staff levels at the MLDC and involve a wide range of key business processes and HR systems. These include recruiting, selection, and onboarding of both permanent and temporary staff, training and development, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee engagement programs, employee relations and compliance, data processing, reporting and management, communications and change management. The MLDC HR Manager will ensure HR representation is available and visible for all shifts.



RESPONSIBILITES:
Function as a strategic and operational partner to the business by developing strong working relationships to understand needs and deliver effective and innovative solutions to people-related issues (e.g., Talent attraction/retention, resourcing, engagement, etc.)
Develop a strong partnership with the MLDC leadership and staff, as well as Corporate HR, to understand the business and provide Boardriders aligned HR solutions
Partner with the MLDC team and Boardriders’ HR to deploy high-quality and efficient Business and HR programs, processes and initiatives (e.g., training and development, performance, culture, engagement, etc.)
Assist MLDC leadership in resolving team dynamics, staff relations and other issues leveraging proficiency with related law, Company Values, policy and practices
Provide day-to-day coaching and guidance to MLDC leadership (e.g., counseling, leadership development, disciplinary actions, etc.)
Effectively manage the MLDC HR Team to ensure execution of day-to-day HR processes for the MLDC (approvals, terminations, transitions, etc.)
Take accountability for reporting of key HR & People KPIs and identifying actions to improve and sustain human capital performance
