SUMMARY:
The newly created role, Demand Planner, eWholesale has the key objective of forecasting sales plans for our Strategic eWholesale Accounts. The Demand Planner, eWholesale is tasked to ensure our Strategic eWholesale Accounts have the appropriate levels of inventory to maximize customer demand while achieving inventory turn targets.
 
The role will report into the Director of Strategic eWholesale Accounts. The ideal candidate will have current and relevant experience in creating forecasts and buy plans and analyzing reports in a retail, wholesale, and marketing environment, with a focus on e-commerce.
 
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Forecast sales plans by month at the style/color/size level for Strategic eWholesale Accounts in order to maximize growth opportunities while achieving inventory turn targets.
Prepare, report, and communicate sales performance to management team.
Monitor size selling in order to adjust size scales to maximize revenue while holding appropriate inventory levels.
Partner with cross-functional planning counterparts on booking strategies for long-life, franchise styles.
Collaborate with Sales Operations team to help monitor order flow and assess opportunities for operational efficiencies throughout the order receive process.
Monitor and analyze eWholesale marketing campaign performance/ROI in partnership with Brand Mangers; Incorporate key learnings into future forecast sales plans with relevant marketing strategies.
Analyze the eWholesale business to seek out additional revenue opportunities.
Contribute to ad-hoc reporting projects as needed.
 
 
 
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in forecasting, planning or buying, preferably within eCommerce.
Experience with apparel/footwear categories preferred.
Proven track record delivering results in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
BS/BA required
Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint.
Experience working with Amazon Vendor Central and similar retail portals preferred.
Ability to drive results.
Ability to challenge the status quo.
Ability to communicate and influence across the organization.
Ability to work in a dynamic work environment.
