SUMMARY:
Support DC Footwear Merchandising team by providing supporting analysis, data validation, sample coordination, and marketplace insights. This position will report to the Senior Global Merchandising Manager.
 
This position is based in our Huntington Beach, CA office.
 
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in building the seasonal merchandising strategy and assortment plan for all categories including  seasonal & category analysis for all channels, bookings recaps, and competitive marketplace analysis.
Ensure clear and consistent communication throughout cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, retail, ecom, planning and regional M&D teams.
Manage sample lines and prepare for major milestone meetings / photoshoots
Enter and manage PLM data seasonally and maintain data integrity.
Maintain and update sales rep communication.
Manage catalog pagination and merch related tasks when building go to market sales tools.
General support of the entire Global Footwear Merch team                                                                                                                                                             
 
 
                             
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION:
An in-depth knowledge of market, trends, innovation, competition, and product details.
Bachelors Degree, Business administration or Retail Merchandising preferred.
1+ years experience in Footwear product (merchandising, buying, selling, development)
Highly analytical and fluent in Excel. 
Strong Product/Design aesthetic        
Experienced and knowledgeable in building presentation decks
Knowledge of product development calendar, timelines and deliverables
Must be able to multi task and work in fast paced environment
Must be proactive with a solution/result oriented attitude
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and follow through skills
Must be highly organized and detailed oriented
Must be PC and MAC computer literate in Applications –Illustrator, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Keynote, PLM
