Job Description
SUMMARY: Oversee and manage the growth and development of the Marketing department including social, marketing events, copywriting, and PR.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Lead in reviewing all launch campaigns 360 view inclusive of launch email, SMS, web assets, and social media
Assist and coordinate product launches with email marketing campaigns, including copy, scheduling, and testing
Proficient in knowledge of Hawaiian history, basic language, spelling, and usage.

- Lead in management of brand copywriter including:
- Weekly launch brief meetings
- Deadline management
- Brand voice alignment
- Copyediting
- Final asset deliverables
- Create, proofread, and edit copy for various marketing channels, ensuring consistent voice and grammar
- Helps create and source blog content that aligns with ALOHA goals and objectives on social media and Ecommerce

- Oversee Social Media team with social platform management, inclusive but not limited to:
- Customer experience
- Customer engagement
- Content planning
- Lead social team in developing and presenting monthly reporting and strategy
- Support social team with the management and growth of influencer program (GRIN)
- Manage social contractors inclusive but not limited to:
- Creating and managing independent contractor agreements
- Managing deliverable timelines and tracking
- Work closely with each brand partner, ambassador, and internal teams to ensure accurate brand representation and alignment
- Work directly with Public Relations vendor to identify and align on influencer and editor outreach and gifting
- Identify PR growth plan and opportunities

- Oversee the coordination of marketing and community events, including logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors, creating itineraries, and ordering marketing collateral
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs
- Oversee quarterly giveaway calendar ensuring alignment with overall marketing calendar and social initiatives
- Oversee yearly pop-up events and identify outbound opportunities
- Work with Regional Retail Manager to align on retail activations and promotions
- Minimum 5 years experience in traditional marketing

- Minimum 3 years experience in management/leadership

- Proficient in knowledge of Hawaiian history, basic language, spelling, and usage.
