VIKTØS is looking for a multifaceted Product Development Specialist to join our tight-knit team. Located in Portland, Oregon, this position will work directly with the Design Director to create products unique to the tactical space. We require an individual able to assist with many different aspects of the design creation process - Development, PLM, and Tech Design. The VIKTØS product team works on footwear, technical apparel, and casuals and needs an individual comfortable operating in all of these categories. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are critical to success in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary point of contact for communications with factories
- Update tech packs and spec
- Maintain and track all stages of samples through to production
- Maintain development timelines and ensure deadlines are met
- Coordinate shipments and receive sample packages
- Coordinate with Operations Manager on issuing PO’s
- Maintain seasonal line plans
- Oversee fit/wear testing program
- Provide weekly reports to Design Director with product status
- Primary point of contact for communications with contract designers
- Create packaging as necessary
