Social Media Manager Job in San Francisco, CA

We are seeking a social media manager to direct strategy and manage social channels for our diverse roster of clients in the outdoor industries. As a social media manager, you will create successful strategies to help our clients achieve their business and marketing objectives. You will create new social marketing campaigns, build brand recognition, and manage all published company content. You will also update social networks and curate content to gain new followers. While working with web analytic tools to track campaign progress and researching industry trends, you will maintain an active social presence and manage communities. A successful social media manager will collaborate with marketing, PR, and legal teams to align company messages, promotions, and goals. The Social Media Manager will also manage junior team members as they work to execute strategy.

The right candidate will:
--Lead overall social + content strategy across Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for multiple client brands, including originating campaigns to meet client marketing goals
--Create daily posts using a mix of client photo assets and reposting tagged photos
--Maintain distinct and consistent voices unique to each brand as directed by client contact and Account Director
--Schedule posts using Sprout Social
--Handle community management (i.e. respond to all comments and DMs across platforms in a timely manner)
--Manage paid social engagement campaigns on an as-needed basis (new product launches, contests/giveaways)
--Create monthly social media performance reports using Sprout Reports
--Share social media updates, big wins, etc. on multiple weekly client calls
--Direct, manage, and assist social media work of relevant Account Executives
--Maintain awareness of relevant trends and developments in social media and advise client strategy accordingly
