OPERATION MANAGER – KASK AMERICA

KASK America is the subsidiary of KASK Spa. KASK, based in Italy, specializes in developing, designing, and manufacturing of safety helmets of the highest quality. Founded in 2004, KASK, is a relatively young company. Thanks to a talented team of expert engineers and partnerships with some of the top leading factories in the market, KASK has gone through a tremendous growth period in a short time marked with success, giving way to the foundation of two additional subsidiaries; one located in the United States and the other in Australia.

KASK America is seeking candidates to fill the role of Operation Manager.

Candidates for the position must either reside or be willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC.

The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated self-starter with the ability to develop a plan and execute it. Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills are a must. Our ideal candidate can connect with Kask SpA Management and Kask America Team, embracing cultural differences.

The candidate will be responsible for improving performance, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. He/She will manage a team of operations employee, train them and will have direct reports.

Job Duties:
• Follow Company processes and policies to support of Company mission; recommend changes to improve efficiency
• Provide necessary reports and support information flow
• Execute and plan daily operations
• Communicate with all relevant employees to ensure deadlines are met
• Plan, schedule, and review workloads and manpower to make sure targets are being met on a cost-effective basis
• Manage the stock levels, and maintain inventory accuracy; implement inventory activity and cycle counts
• Maintain relationship with Logistic Suppliers to assure cost efficiency
• Coordinate with Division Sales Managers to assure customers’ needs are met
• Communicate any changes in the delivery dates to relevant parties
• Check final products to assure Company Quality Standards are met
• Purchase materials and services as required for logistic and production; assure working equipment is properly maintained to the Safety requirements.
• Confirm that health and safety regulations are followed
• Provide guidance and training to employees
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
• 3-5 years Logistic Warehouse Experience in Leadership Position;
• Production and Planning Experience preferred;
• Ability to Manage Time and Workload Effectively;
• Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written and Verbal;
• Experience in Negotiating and Working with Suppliers;
• Ability to work in a Team Environment;
• Strong Problem-Solving Skills;
• Strong Attention to Details;
• Results oriented;
• Ability to Engage and Motivate Others;
• Knowledge of ERP system (Netsuite, SAP, etc)
• Working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
• BS degree in operations management or related field
