Awesome Outdoors Group is a Regional Sales Agency with expertise in developing strong relationships with the best retailers. We represent premium brands exclusively, and have experienced tremendous growth in the 5 years since our founding. We have 7 terrific brands that the ideal candidate would work with in North and South Carolina, Virginia, and DC. Those brands are LOLE, Hari Mari, Hydrapak, Bolle, Serengeti, Bridgedale, and Hilly. The ideal candidate would live in this region, and be comfortable working with women's apparel. Travel in this region will be required and will usually be less than 10 days each month, depending on the season. Familiarity with the region is a plus, as is an understanding of retail sales. On the road, your time will be spend identifying new retail partnerships, visiting dealers regularly to conduct clinics, participating in special events and attending trade shows in the region. While not on the road, your time will spent building a strong knowledge of the products we represent, making phone calls, sending and responding to emails, soliciting and entering dealer orders and constantly monitoring benchmarks and goals with each brand we work with.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
* Reliable transportation and insurance,
* Transportation that is large enough for holding samples (at least a small SUV probably).
* A laptop for communicating and entering orders,
* Proficiency in Excel, Word and social media,
* Previous sales experience is a must,
* Strong organizational skills, and ability to manage tasks, deadlines and most importantly, time,
* Professional attitude.
This is a full time position that is 100% commission, meaning that your potential income has no limit. Samples and sales tools are provided and travel expenses are supplemented.
