About the Role:
Reporting directly to the Director of Product, as the Inventory Planner you will be responsible for managing product inventory levels, creating product sales forecasts, building supply plans, issuing capacity reservations, and modeling future inventory positions and receipts. To do this you will be, creating and maintaining planning tools, collaborating with cross functional teams, communicating with our screen print facility, addressing inventory discrepancies, and ensuring transparency of the entire process to empower the business to grow.

What you’ll do:
• Build and update accurate SKU level product forecasts each month, to inform and empower the supply planning & purchasing processes.
• Build a SKU level monthly supply plan, with target buy quantities by style, and partner with the Production Manager to review and execute with our vendors.
• Run daily inventory views used to keep the business informed of current and future inventory positions, challenges, and opportunities.
• Partner with the Product Team to develop pre-season initial product forecasts and supply models that will empower the company to hit its overall revenue targets.
• Maintain awareness of factory capacity limitations, and work in tandem with the Production Manager to build annual capacity plans and issue capacity reservations.
• Publish a weekly oversold report with commentary around the general state of inventory to inform the business of out-of-stock product & expected replenishment dates.
• Advise our print facility of inbound inventory dates to empower them to effectively plan their production and guide appropriate resource allocation.
• Balance inventory units and dollars to company targets, maximizing inventory coverage while maintaining favorable product turns.
• Provide inventory receipt forecasts to the Finance Team to align receipts with cash flow requirements and adjust supply plan to address any perceived challenges.
• Maintain and publish a list of discontinued inventory, identifying and suggesting opportunities for reducing the overall holding.
• Address inventory discrepancies by partnering with cross functional teams to track the issue to final resolution, including making inventory adjustments when needed.

Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
