About the Job:

The Sales and Partnership Manager (SPM) will embody the Duck brand story and values. The SPM is a sales leader championing strategic partnership development and development of The Duck sale’s team.

The SPM creates and execute sales plans geared toward new and existing customers across a defined high value territory. They drive profitable sales growth by account planning, articulating the Duck brand story, being present in the market , listening to customers and driving sell through. This position leverages existing relationships, channel partnerships and prospects developing opportunities leading to sales growth. The SPM guides development of the Duck sales team through brand presentation and sales planning methodology as well as setting performance expectations and coaching the team for success. This role focusses heavily on a consultative approach to our customers and driving success for them. Crucial experience for this role includes account management, experienced consultative sales skills, resort industry expertise, ability to identify target markets and/or customers and recognizing sales cycles with varying durations. This individual will be measured on the ability to grow the existing customers and territories and leadership of a sales team. The SPM must communicate clearly, exhibit strong multi-channel account management, planning and forecasting skills. This is a HIGH growth opportunity. Salary/Compensation
• Base Salary of $100,000, plus benefits.
• Quarterly Bonus: based on total company sales.
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
• Embody the Duck story and values
• Fanatical ownership of the brand story, direction & message.
• Proven track record of managing high-performance teams that exceed performance expectations
• Ongoing training of the sales team (including new hires) on company operational processes and procedures which includes performance reviews and scorecards.
• Experience building out large-scale sales strategies with complex dependencies and effective resource management including account planning, revenue forecasting, program management and opportunity assessment for the short term and on an annual basis.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills
• Strong time management, prioritization, problem-solving, decision making, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven record of creating new successful processes and improving existing ones.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and cross-functional peers to support deadlines
• Maintain a view of the competitive landscape, market pricing and strategy.
• Focus on growing High Value accounts and territories
• 5+ years of sales leadership experience with brand and partnership development.
• National sales experience in the resort industry
• Relevant established relationships (preferred)
• Willing and able to travel 50% or more
