REMOTE / OFFICE: BioLite has a hybrid work model where employees are in office 2-3 days per week. This role has the possibility of being remote for an experienced candidate.

REPORTS TO: VP of Outdoor Markets

This Role:

BioLite is looking for an experienced Director of Ecommerce. You will be responsible for managing and growing the overall D2C business and consumer experience at BioLite. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of ecommerce management including: sales forecasting, inventory management, product merchandising, and digital conversion drivers. You will own and execute the strategy to maximize sales and optimize customer acquisition and retention. You will be a collaborative partner with sales, marketing, and operations.

Reporting to the VP of Outdoor Markets, this role is ideal for someone with an analytical, data-driven mindset, and has proven expertise in leveraging a cross-channel digital media portfolio (search, social, programmatic, affiliate marketing, etc). You will lead the strategy and execution of the paid marketing budgets across a variety of digital channels, driving campaign planning, strategy, as well as, managing the external agency partners.

We are looking for a team member with deep experience across paid digital media and SEO and who is well versed in building strategies and plans that unlock significant growth. You should also be experienced in working with creative to ensure both media and creative messaging are working in tandem to drive the highest impact. This position requires data-driven decision-making as well as close collaboration with internal and external partners to ensure the overall media mix is fully optimized.

You Will:
-Own the business planning and forecast for all ecommerce platforms (BioLite.com and Amazon) including both revenue and inventory planning. Analyze and adjust forecasts on an ongoing basis
-Oversee and plan the budget, traffic, and sales forecasts for BioLite's ecommerce and digital media channels, share regular performance updates with broader sales and marketing teams, provide digital insights & own digital quarterly planning
-Partner with external agencies and our internal marketing team to create an annual strategic calendar with monthly editorial content calendar across digital channels to support sales goals and designated campaigns
-Understand consumer data and continue to improve upon the messaging strategy for the BioLite core demographic and opportunities for prospecting future consumers
-Use new developments in the e-marketing world to ensure that BioLite has a fully optimized and best practice-focused Ecommerce experience
-Determine the format and features of the website to maximize clarity and ease of navigation for customers and work with web designers to develop/adjust the website.
-Manage our agency partners, ensuring campaigns are executed flawlessly and performance reports extract insights that are meaningful and actionable and implement optimization tests across our end-to-end customer funnel
-Work with Operations Analyst to analyze weekly ecommerce sales data and translate into recommendations for current and future initiatives
You Have:
-Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field
-10+ years of experience in a professional work environment with direct experience in digital marketing and ecommerce
-Experience working with Amazon or other ecommerce platforms
-Experience in a role requiring frequent cross departmental collaboration
-Experience with Shopify and NetSuite
-Comfort reporting on digital media metrics, optimizations and recommendations
-Experience managing a digital media budget and working with agencies
