<p><strong>EXECUTIVE PRODUCER - VICE NEWS TONIGHT</strong></p>

<p>The award-winning VICE News team develops and produces news content across VICE platforms and partner platforms. The news team focuses on in-depth longform storytelling and unique and creative ways to relay topical daily news. This is a collaborative team that works together to make everyone’s stuff better. We believe in listening to everyone’s ideas and bringing on a diverse group of people who love working together to make the best, most unique news content out there.</p>
<p><strong>Role x You</strong></p>
<p>We’re looking for a creative and experienced Executive Producer to develop and oversee the Emmy-award winning Vice News Tonight, the flagship show for Vice News. The Executive Producer will lead the editorial vision and direction for the show, combining a mix of breaking and day-of news and longer form documentary-style pieces. The EP will give guidance on story ideas and develop new ways of packaging the news. A high-level knowledge of news is necessary, along with an understanding of the VICE voice and how to provide a unique take in a crowded news landscape. Must have a background in television production and leading teams. And must be excited about working in a highly collaborative team.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p><strong>You have these:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>7-10 years min experience in senior leadership of a newsroom / managing newsroom teams</li>
<li>Proven experience helming editorial vision of a news show</li>
<li>Able to effectively manage staff of senior broadcast producer, line producers, day-of producers, segment producers and writers.</li>
<li>Leader who is comfortable overseeing editorial vision and giving staff direction</li>
<li>Generates exceptional story ideas, for breaking news, quick turn formats and longer-lead pieces</li>
<li>Ability to deliver on time and on budget</li>
<li>Expert communicator; experience giving direct and constructive feedback</li>
<li>Experience with project management and overseeing many moving parts, assignments, and deliverables at once</li>
</ul>
