<p><strong>Segment Producer</strong></p>
<p><strong>VICE</strong></p>

<p><strong>VICE + Team</strong></p>
<p>We produce the most important and compelling news across the world for our VICE News audience.</p>
<p><strong>The Role + You</strong></p>
<p>As an experienced segment producer, you will help us deliver by constantly pitching new ideas and angles on how to execute. You will produce and write segments for daily news programming and breaking news.</p>
<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS </strong></p>
<p><strong>You have these:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3 - 5+ Years of Professional experience at Television, Film, of Digital Media companies</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Creative Writing, Communications, or related field</li>
<li>Exceptional editorial and news judgment</li>
<li>Ability to write clearly and effectively</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and assignments simultaneously under strict deadlines</li>
<li>Thorough knowledge of current events, U.S. politics, geopolitics, foreign policy, history</li>
</ul>

<li>Ability to write clearly and effectively</li>
<li>Write and produce segments </li>
<li>Identify the appropriate video and soundbites for segments</li>
<li>Pitch short term and long-term segment ideas</li>

<li>Participate in daily staff editorial and production meetings</li>
<li>Able to book guests as needed</li>
