<p><strong>HEAD OF STRATEGY</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Virtue is seeking a Head of Strategy to play a key leadership role in the growth of our business in Asia Pacific, leading the strategic charge on pitches, as well as cultivating and growing existing client relationships. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will be leading an ambitious team of strategists across our most diverse region. You will be working very closely with our ECD and creative teams to inspire the best and most effective work possible. You will be a big presence in the room with our clients. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will need a brilliant strategic mind, the ability to get the best out of those around you, great presentation skills, and a deep fascination with culture and how brands can participate in it. You will be able to take all the great insight and knowledge that this place offers and use it to see the world as others haven’t, and get to places others wouldn’t have thought of. </span></p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">:</span></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bring a sharp strategic point of view that will drive the overall approach to our client work.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Set an approach to each challenge that gets the best out of everyone involved. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Collaborate cross functionally, and apply strategic thinking to the various stages of our work, ranging from high level concepts to tactical implementation of ideas. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage and mentor all of our strategy team members.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Foster a culture of thought leadership, respectful provocation, and collaboration.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Champion strategic excellence within the agency.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Coordinate and collaborate with strategy teams across the world on global business, and to share great thinking and best practise. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead the strategy team in developing breakthrough ideas for new business and client accounts. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Responsible for leading workshops and helping client teams make leaps and break impasses, by using your outstanding facilitation skills. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead and support new business from a strategy perspective, with your team. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Establish great relationships across VICE Media Group and within Virtue. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Always striving to make the work better and keep the creative teams inspired and pointed in the right direction. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Be an active participant in industry groups, and be an ambassador of thought leadership for the agency. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Help to build our intelligence offering in the region. </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>A little about you:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You have at least 12+ years experience as an agency strategist and 5+ years experience managing direct reports. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You are exceptional at diagnosing a client problem - evaluating the market context, consumer context, cultural context and the business itself. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You are exceptional at making the connections between those things that lead to great strategy. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You are keen to work with a broad range of inputs - from cultural insight, to qualitative and quantitative consumer research - and spot the most compelling way to join the dots between them. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You have a proven track record of pitching and winning new business.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You have the ability to come up with BIG ideas that move the creative forward, and unlock potential in our clients businesses.</span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You can write a killer creative brief and help others to do the same. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You know how to get the best out of creatives and strategists and clients. </span></li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">You have a lot of experience leading client workshops. </span></li>
